In his film, Only A Number, our speaker, Steven Besserman tells the powerful true story of his parents, Aranka and Josef who met in a concentration camp, separated by barbed wire, without a common language, and ravaged by brutality – a story of the Holocaust that is also a love story.

Only A Number has been an official selection at several film festivals where it received awards for Best Documentary Feature. The film has been broadcast on PBS across the US, and is used by educators in the curriculum with the recommendation of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education.
